Frequently asked questions
Is Dove free?
Yes. The interview, verification, introductions, chat, voice and video calls, date planning and every safety feature are free. Plus and Premium add more introductions and depth.
Why only a few people a day?
Fewer, but better. The daily number is a ceiling, not a quota: we only show people who genuinely fit you. If nobody does, no introduction arrives that day, and we tell you so honestly.
When do introductions arrive?
Every day at the time you choose: 08:30, 12:30, 20:00 or 22:30. You can change your time once a week.
Does the AI write for me?
No. On Dove, AI never writes or sends messages for you. The matchmaker and chat inspiration only give ideas; you write your own words.
Why is verification required?
To make sure everyone is the person in their photos. You do a short liveness check. Only a Dove moderator sees the frames, and they are deleted within 30 days at the latest. No face template is kept.
Do you record my voice?
No. Voice recordings are never kept. The written transcript of your interview is kept for 90 days, then deleted.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Me → Account → Delete my account. Details on the account deletion page.
