Child safety standards

Last updated:

These standards are part of Dove’s Community Guidelines and apply to every member.

Dove is only for people 18 and over. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

  • We ask for a date of birth at sign-up; nobody under 18 can register and the date of birth cannot be changed later.
  • Every member completes liveness verification; signs that someone may be a minor are flagged automatically and reviewed by a moderator as soon as possible.
  • If there is a suspicion, the account is restricted immediately. If a violation is confirmed, the account is closed permanently and signing up again with the same device and phone is blocked.
  • Cases are reported to the competent authorities as the law requires, and evidence is preserved.
  • To report, use Report → Someone underage on a profile, in a chat or in a call.

How to report

  • In the app: the three-dot menu on a profile, in a chat or in a call → Report → Someone under 18. The person you report can no longer see you.
  • By e-mail: dove@neuros.com.tr
  • In an emergency: call 112.

Compliance with the law

Dove complies with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and the laws in force in Türkiye. When child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is detected, the content is removed, the account is closed permanently and the case is reported to the competent authorities.
